Our stock designs on tiles are made the same way fine dinnerware is made.  The original artwork is  reproduced with a technique that preserves the hand painted look after it is fired onto the tiles. 

The images in our collection are based on current trends and the request for subject matter that we receive from our custom clients.  They are designed in a way that they can either stand alone or work together.   We have intentionally left out the kind of background scenery you usually see in a painting so that you can create your own finished work by putting together the designs that you want to live with.  You can create a checkerboard of 6"x6" chickens and blank colored tiles or simply one life sized roooster standing proudly behind your cooking range.

Please check out the online ordering section to see the product line of McIntyre Tiles and consider using a variety of shapes, colors, sizes, and carved borders to create something unique that is yours alone.  When you choose the background glaze on which you want your designs to be fired keep in mind that the colors are translucent like watercolors and they will be affected by the color of the glaze. 

Your order is custom made and fired according to your stated specifications.  If you don't plan to order field tiles and trim, you can have your order sooner by choosing the Everest White glaze color as a base on which to fire your designs.  We keep a stock on hand of 4"x 4" and 6"x 6" tiles in Everest White so that we can fill orders without the wait necessary to make and fire your tiles.
