WESTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE
The homeowners were building a new kitchen and adding a wet bar. They wanted a scene of their home town on the six foot long by eighteen inch high ceramic tile backsplash to make it special and personal. The wife photographed the buildings in the town that she found interesting, including her own shop, and sent a three inch tall stack of pictures for us to use as reference. In addition, she sent a granite sample, a wood sample for the cabinets, and a fabric sample so that we could coordinate the colors into the space. The finished mural that was hand painted and fired onto six inch tiles is an artist's arrangement of some of the more interesting buildings in the town of Weston. It is unique, personal, and one of a kind.
